You’re not going to believe me, but the weather in south Florida has been very chilly these past few weeks. No joke. It’s been getting into the 40’s at night and only into the 60’s during the day. Yes, I realize for most of you northerners, that’s not very cold, but for those of us used to 80 degrees, it’s cold.
I’ve enjoyed the cooler weather. It makes if feel more like the holiday season to me. Plus, I get to wear sweatshirts and sweatpants, and drink tea and hot chocolate during all hours of the day (not that this is anything new). 🙂

Greetings from my new KING size Yogabed. That’s right, Bryan finally budged (after months of me whining) and got us a king size bed. It was our wedding gift for each other. And I must say, after just one night of sleeping on it, I’m in heaven!
Speaking of heaven, I have another Homemade Granola recipe for y’all to try. Yes, it’s very similar to my original recipe, but I did some tweaking and I like this one even better! This homemade granola could run circles around any store-bought brand. It’s also healthier. Duh. Oh, and let’s not forget versatile. You can play around with the mix-ins and spices to get just the flavor you want! It’s hard to beat homemade granola. Don’t you agree?

Hi y’all! Man, it’s been a whirlwind of a week, but I’m finally getting back into a routine after being gone for 9 days.
Oh how I long to be back in Costa Rica…
Nestled between mountains and surrounded by forests, wetlands, the Pacific Ocean, scarlet macaws, sloths and toucans…

Happy Sunday. Boy does it feel good to talk to you. This may sound silly but I miss y’all when I go a few days without talking to you. It also doesn’t help that Bryan is still gone…
Perhaps I’m going a little cuckoo?
Don’t worry, he gets back in 8 days. But until then…you’re stuck with me. Mwhahahahha.

Bryan jetted (I mean yachted) off to the Bahamas yesterday. I’d like to say I’m getting used to him leaving, but I’m not. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it. And this time, he’s gone for almost an entire month – the longest we have ever been away from each other. 😦
WOMP. WOMP. 😦 😦 😦

Ahhhhhhh yes, it’s finally October, which for most of you means the start of a new season- falling leaves, shorter days, and time to stow away shorts and flip flops and bring out your sweaters and boots. And for all of us, the beginning of everything PUMPKIN. Remember, I live in Florida so while I don’t ever swap flip flops for boots, I still want everything pumpkin this time of year.
Let’s be real, I always want everything pumpkin…
Now leeeeesten close. Do you heeeeeer me? 🙂 Make this today, then make it again tonight and again tomorrow – especially if it’s starting to cool down where you live and your smoothie time is running out! It’s so simple to throw together and quite possibly the most delectable thing you’ll ever put in your mouth.

I’ve always been a very indecisive individual (just ask Bryan). It’s hard enough for me to decide what I want to do each day, let alone what I want to eat.
When people discover that I’m a vegetarian, they often ask me what my favorite foods are, and what are my favorite products (hair care, lotion etc…). Honestly, I go through major kicks with food and products. For several years, I ate so many bananas, and now I can barely bring myself to eat half of one – I do because I know they are good for me, but usually I have to blend them into smoothies.
